The Highland Hunt Breakfast
November (Sunday, date to be announced)
Watch the horses set out from The Highlands at 10:00 to follow the course set for them through neighborhood fields and woods, or come to witness their return at about 11:30 and learn about the history of horses and hounds in Whitemarsh. The Highland Hunt is a “drag hunt” where the hounds and horses follow a course set out by a hunt member pulling a scent-soaked bag—no foxes are involved. Come at noon to enjoy a Continental breakfast in the Mansion, which will include a sampling of the tastiest specialties of local bakeries. Live music and a raffle will round out this event. Admission fee charged, reservations recommended.
A Visit with Santa
Sunday, December 8, 12:30 – 2:30pm

A very special edition of The Night Before Christmas, which features Santa landing his sleigh and eight reindeer on the roof of The Highlands, will be available for purchase. Reservations are required, and each child must be accompanied by an adult. Admission fee charged, reservations recommended.
